History

Moulding Associates was founded in 1981 by Raford Cade in a spare bedroom of his home in Dallas, Texas. Cade and his sons, Jeff, and Roger, began initial sales efforts by offering five models of doors Today the MAi collection offers hundreds of distinctive, quality options to meet the needs of discerning home and business owners.

From the company's initial beginnings based in the Cade family home, the operation expanded to a dedicated company headquarters and manufacturing facility. In 1999, MAi moved from its then location in Garland, Texas to new manufacturing and office facilities in Wylie, Texas, where the Wylie Operations remains based today. Today Raford and Roger have retired from the business and Jeff guides the company's sales and supply efforts.

Luis Davila serves as General Manager of the Wylie Operations where MAi doors are made and marketed. MAi products are proudly sold through its helpful independent distributor network providing customers with distinctive door solutions to meet a wide range of quality design needs.

Through the years, MAi has recognized the need to tailor its innovative product mix of distinctive doors and stair parts to meet the needs of its many loyal customers.
