LA SCALA

La Scala stair parts are made of furniture quality European beech hardwood and can be stained beautifully to match your home's wood appointments. La Scala standard newels are designed for either post-to-post or over-the-post installation. Grand newels are designed for post-to-post installation. Each La Scala Bellagio, Romano, Rialto, and Corinthian baluster and standard newel is created from one piece of wood, making the design solid, yet fluid at the same time. This is part of the uniqueness of La Scala.

Bergamo balusters and standard newels are made of solid upper and solid lower pieces with the popular basket connector. La Scala Tuscany balusters and standard newels are also crafted with solid upper and lower pieces, and are set off with enchanting Tuscan marble. Balusters are available in 1 5/8" x 42" and 2" x 42". Standard newels are available in 3 ?" x 42" and 3 ?" x 60. The La Scala Grand Newels are constructed in sections for more efficient use of timber. Grand Newel center sections are 5 5/16" x 21 5/8"; Grand Newels are 50 3/8" tall when fully assembled.
