Size and Rough Openings

It is Vital to get the Rough Opening measurement correct. You need approximately 1" of play and shim room when installing a pre-hung door. When measuring for a replacement door get the Masonry Opening Measurement too if there is existing Brick, Stone or Stucco and even wood or vinyl siding you have surrounding the entry door as it can spoil an easy installation for proper fitment.
